Share a timer: add ?t= and the number of seconds to the address, e.g. visualtimer.org/?t=420 for 7 minutes.

Forty-five minutes is the length of many class periods and exams, and a long focus session. Press Start and watch the red circle shrink as the time runs out.

Go full screen to show the 45 minute timer on a projector or smartboard. When time is up, a chime plays and the screen says "Time’s up!".

How do I set a 45 minute timer?

Will the timer keep running if I switch tabs?

Yes. The timer counts down from a fixed end time, so it stays accurate in a background tab, and the sound still plays when time is up. The remaining time is also shown in the browser tab title.
